NEW WORK GROUP: HEALTH LITERACY FOR OLDER ADULTS
We have started a work group interested in health literacy for older adults. We are gathering information about existing resources and initiatives in Arizona. The goal is promote knowledge of health literacy, the importance of health literacy for older adults and all those working with older adults, and to identify who is doing what, sharing information and networking. For more information, contact Jutta Ulrich at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The group has monthly conference calls. On April 25, 2017, we have an in-person meeting at the Foundation for Senior Living, Caregiver House, from 1-4 pm. We will tour the house, learn about tools for caregivers, and make plans for the Coalition. For more information, contact Hannele Waissi at email@example.com.
